Move-out Frequently Asked Questions
The following are brief answers to the most commonly asked questions from Tenant moving out.
1. What happens if someone on the lease wants to move out?
All tenants on the lease must sign a special agreement form and pay a $75.00 fee. If a new roommate wants to move-in they have to submit an application and be approved before they move in. If you want to stay without a new roommate, then you must submit another application.

2. When do I have to give notice?
Tenants must provide written notice to vacate on or before the first day of the tenant’s last month. We do not prorate rent for the last month even if keys are turned in early. 30 days notice is required when tenant is leaving at the end of their lease.

3. How much does it cost if I have to break my lease?
The early termination fee = 2 times monthly rent

4. Will you show the house while I’m still living there?
Yes, during the last month that you are in the house. We will give you 24 hours notice.

5. What if I don’t want the house to be shown during my last month?
You can pay an extra month’s rent and we will not show it while you are still living there.
