The following are brief answers to the most commonly asked questions from Applicants.
1. How do I schedule an appointment to see a house?
Call our office 505.896.1750. Or send an email to info@kelloggagency.com. Showings are scheduled from 9:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Saturday by appointment.

2. Do you show houses to more than one person or group at a time?
We may schedule several people for the same appointment time. This is done on occupied homes to minimize the inconvenience to the tenants. And on vacant homes that are popular.

3. Can I apply online?
Not at this time. Our application can be printed and emailed or faxed.

4. How do I pay the application fee?
We accept cash, personal checks, cashier’s checks or money orders. You can pay online here. Choose the house you are applying for and use the “Pay an Application Fee” option.

5. How long does it take to evaluate my application?
It takes anywhere from 2 – 5 days. The sooner we hear back from your employer and your previous landlords the sooner your application will be evaluated.

6. If my spouse, roommate, or adult son/daughter isn’t working, do they have to fill out an application, too?
Yes. Everyone 18 years old and older must fill out a separate application.

7. How do you evaluate my application?
We will evaluate your application on credit history and score, employment and income, housing history, and background check. See the Application for details and instructions.

8. How much money is needed to move in?
The security deposit (equal to one month’s rent) is due immediately after being approved. A full month’s rent is due when you pick up the keys. The prorated rent for the move-in month is due the first of the next month. Last month’s rent or other pre-paid rent may be required.
